After the success of our pioneering 2024 Vision Zone South-West Exhibition for families of children and young people with VI in Plymouth, we are back again – this time nearer to Exeter.

What: Vision Zone South-West Children and Young People’s VI Exhibition and Conference.

When: Thursday 29th October, 10am - 2pm (half term)

Where: The Kenn Centre, 3 Exeter Road, Kennford, Exeter, EX6 7UE

How Much: FREE (and free parking)

Come along to meet over 20 local and national exhibitors showcasing services and resources for children and young people with vision impairment. Explore the latest assistive technology with hands-on demonstrations, browse stalls in the Main Hall, and enjoy informative talks on education, funding, support, activities and other services throughout the day.

Exhibitors include:

Optelec UK, MoorVision, Guide Dogs, Devon in Sight, New College Worcester , Improving Lives Plymouth, MACS, InFocus Charity, The Apogee Project, The Powell Family Foundation, VICTA, Thomas Pocklington Trust, Royal National College for the Blind, All Things Dotty, Devon ROVIC team, Blind veterans, RSBC, Blind in Business, Seeability and Tenomi.

There will be a free lunch and refreshments for all visitors, children’s activities and opportunities for short bursts of childcare (3 and overs) for families who wish to attend the talks or have some quiet time looking at the exhibition.

The centre is wheelchair friendly and has a disabled toilet.

You are welcome to turn up on the day but if you know you are coming, please let us know if possible and especially if you have any dietary requirements.
