I am currently the manager of a Resource Base for blind and visually impaired children in a mainstream primary school. We have seven children working at different levels and adapt the curriculum into both Braille and large print, according to their appropriate learning media. I also work for the local Sensory Service as an Advisory teacher, as well as a placement supervisor for the University of Birmingham. I am retiring from my current post on 14th February 2019 but want to continue working with blind and visually impaired children.
