Tina Wakefield is an Educational Consultant.  She works for the National Deaf Children’s Society, and with the Ear Foundation Education and Research teams, delivers specialist courses and acts as a national consultant. She develops online educational resources both in report and video form. She has for many years been an active contributor to national statutory assessment, disability rights and inclusion issues working with the Department of Education and other agencies. She is currently also involved in work with CRIDE and as a mentor for ToD postgraduate students.

She is a Teacher of the Deaf with over thirty years experience in resources, peripatetic roles and as head of a large service for deaf and hearing impaired children. She is herself deaf and has many family members who are also deaf.
