What do the SEND reforms mean for Sensory Impairment? |
| Mode: | Online via Microsoft Teams |
| Date: | Tuesday 5 May 2026 13:00 - 16:00 |
| Cost: | £60/delegate reduced to £30/delegate for NatSIP member organisations. |
About the event:
With the publication of the Schools White Paper 2026: Every Child Achieving and Thriving, and the Government consultation on SEND reform Putting Children and Young People First, it is clear that change is once again coming to SEND.
The implications for children and young people with sensory impairment are beginning to emerge and this event will explore how the sector is responding and can influence future educational provision.
The online event is to enable colleagues to hear from DfE and speakers about the proposals in the Schools White Paper and to contribute, through discussion, to NatSIP’s response to the consultation. The views of NatSIP members and partners are essential.
