Welcome to the NatSIP Website

This website offers access to a wealth of SI resources, most of which are now freely available.  We encourage you to register on the site for full access to everything we have to offer.  Registration is free, and open to anyone.  A walkthrough/howto on the registration process is here.

The Find an Advisor (FAA) section of the NatSIP website has been in use in pilot for a while and we have been working with users, seeking specialist SI advice, to develop and refine the facilities of the FAA Directory.

At the NatSIP working day on 5 February 2019 we demonstrated and 'launched' the new FAA Directory and are pleased that there has been considerable interest from advisors, to register, and from those seeking independent advice.

In order to search and access the listings in the FAA Directory you do need to be registered on and logged in to the NatSIP website.

We have published some NatSIP guidelines for use of the directory and you might like to read these before starting:

  1. Before you can submit an FAA listing for editorial consideration, you must first be registered on the NatSIP Website.  There's a full guide/walkthrough to the registration process (with lots of pictures!) which can be downloaded here.  Please help yourself to a copy and follow it when registering for an account.  In particular, remember that you need to confirm your account setup by clicking on the link in the email our robot sends you before you can log in for the first time.

  2. To submit an FAA listing itself, it helps if you know what information you need, and have collected it together before you start typing (or cut-and-pasting).  Again, there's a fully illustrated guide/walkthrough document on submitting a listing which can be downloaded here and which may be helpful.

  3. The editor of the FAA Directory is Steve Rose (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Questions about what needs to go in a listing, which are not answered in the documentation, need to be sent to him please.

  4. NatSIP Technical IT support on the web site and FAA is best obtained by going to http://helpdesk.natsip.org.uk and opening a new ticket. We need your name, email address and phone number (as collected by the ticket form) to get back to you.  If you can't get to a browser, you send the same nformation to This email address is being protected from spambots. by email.

  5. If you have a problem, please explore what your local IT support has to offer before automatically assuming it's a NatSIP problem.  (We've had over 88,000 visits to the NatSIP Website in the last year, and 900+ visits to FAA so far, and most of them have no reported issues).
