The government has published the T level Action Plan today. This gives more detail on the plans for introducing technical education reform, and T levels in particular. The plan sets out opportunities for those who want to be involved and contribute.

You can access the Action Plan via the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/post-16-skills-plan-andindependent-report-on-technical-education

It sets out recent progress and plans for the coming months, specifically:

a) How T levels fit within the wider education landscape, what they are and who they are for. It confirms that T levels will be offered at level 3.

b)  A high level timetable for implementation, confirming which T level routes and pathways will be delivered when, and by whom

c) Next steps on the development of key elements of the programme

d) Confirmation that qualifications will be offered under exclusive licensing

e) An announcement that we have formally convened T level Panels, made up of employers, professional bodies and providers, to develop outline content for the new qualifications
