Looking for a fun, free way to keep children reading over the summer? By taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge, children can build confidence, discover new stories and enjoy reading for pleasure during the school break.
Children can read anything that interests them, but this year’s highlighted books, games and activities are themed around music.
RNIB has partnered with The Reading Agency to develop Read to the Beat inclusive activity ideas for children with vision impairment and sighted children to enjoy together, including a sound-collecting story walk, SFX story time and a vocal orchestra activity.
