Following on from the success of the Family Festival: Imaginary Worlds in September 2025, the date for the 2026 Family Festival for families of deaf children has now been set for Saturday 17 October 2026 from 12:00 - 16:00 at the British Library in London.

- Family Festival: Stories, Sign and Shine
- Enjoy an exciting family day inspired by books and stories – both real and imaginary – as you make, move, sign and explore.
- Date: Saturday 17 October 2026, running from 12.00 – 16.00
- Location: British Library, 96 Euston Road, Camden,London NW1 2DB
- Inspiration: Come and enjoy many wonderful and interactive family learningactivities, performances and workshops based around the International Year of Reading for FREE. It will be a fun and creative day celebrating the joy of sharing stories and exploring together.
Please feel free to ciculate details of this event to your families and via your networks. It would be good to encourage deaf families and families of deaf children to come along and have a fantastic day out for FREE!
More information on the plans for the programme for the Family Festival will be sent out later in the year and will also be available on the British Library’s website (www.bl.uk).
