The Department for Education has published proposals for wide-ranging reforms to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision in England, alongside the launch of a national consultation.

To help shape RNIB’s response, we’d really welcome hearing your opinions. Working with sector partners, we’ll be running focus group for professionals such as QTVIs, habilitation specialists and support staff working with children and young people with vision impairment.

With 6 weeks left of the consultation period, there remains an opportunity to influence the details of these reforms so that the needs of children and young people with vision impairment are fully recognised and addressed. Would you be available to join one of our focus groups on one of the following times?:

Wednesday 15 April: 12.30-2pm

Thursday 16 April: 5.30-7pm

Tuesday 21 April: 5-6.30pm
