Glasgow Caledonian University have contacted Sense and have asked for support with the promotion of a research project looking into understanding the early communication of deafblind children.
One of the ways Sense has agreed to do this is by contacting fellow professionals who also have regular contact with families with young deafblind children (0-6 years).
The attachments which can be downloaded here deaf blind early communication research project detail both the expectations and structure of the project, the amount of time the families will be needed, the various venues they will be able to attend and the contact details of the people involved in the project in case the family would like additional/further information. There is a letter aimed at professionals as well as letters to be circulated directly to parents.
