NatSIP Reference group
The role of the reference group is:
- To offer guidance and act as a critical friend to the members of the NatSIP working groups and to promote their work
- To act as Quality Review for the activities of NatSIP, and to agree a process for this
- To identify and advise on potential future workstreams for the group and to work, with the facilitator, with Chairs of working groups on effective intended outcomes
- To act as a communication and support mechanism within the representative organisations locally and nationally and to seek opportunities to consolidate NatSIP work
- To make representations on key issues to organisations, pressure groups and to influence government policy , to the benefit of children and young people with sensory impairment and their families
- To attend meetings as a reference group 2010-2011
